The third My vision of logistics competition, which reached out to university students in the city of Łódź, and hosted by the LODZistics Logistics Business Network of Central Poland Cluster, which we are a member of, has come to an end. The award ceremony was held last Friday, 7 March, in the cinema hall of the Information Technology Centre at the Technical University of Łódź, which we had the pleasure of attending.
Organised by the LODZistics Cluster, the competition aims to foster student creativity and is a great example of excellent collaboration between science and business. This is why we never hesitated to accept the invitation to become partners in this event.
Students from all Łódź universities took part in this year’s competition. Their task was to present their ideas for efficient and modern logistics solutions in the spirit of logistics of the future. They could choose from amongst several competition categories: Automation and Robotisation in Logistics, Last Mile Logistics, Future Technologies in the Supply Chain, The Role of the Logistics Manager in 2100s Century Logistics, and Industrial Building Design and Construction. The last category – because of its theme – was by far the one we most related to, so we took it under our wing.
The winner in our category was Natalia Szymańska, a student at the Łódź University of Technology. And it was her that the award was presented to at a gala ceremony on Friday, on behalf of our company, by Michał Brzeziński, Marketing Manager. We will be delighted to host Natalia in the VIP box during any of our ŁKS Commercecon Łódź volleyball team matches of her choice. Such a meeting will certainly provide plenty of sporting excitement and an excellent opportunity to talk modern logistics construction.
Thank you to all participants for taking part in the competition and congratulations to the winners!
