Commercecon has designed and built warehouses for years on a daily basis. We leverage our experience to design warehouses that meet all requirements of the investor. We design each hall individually, in line with its intended purpose. One of the basic parameters is choosing the right height of the hall, as the usable space should allow for optimal storage conditions. Commercecon is capable of designing low-rise, mid-rise and high-bay storage halls.
What are high bay storage halls? This type of building often has a peculiar structure, as the racking substructures also function as the main load-bearing structure, supporting the roofing and walls, while facilitating the storage of goods. Due to their considerable height, these facilities allow the storage of relatively large quantities of goods in relation to the occupied floor area. Building a high-bay storage hall also does not preclude adding fully-fledged office and staff facilities to suit the investor’s needs and expectations.
The construction costs of a storage hall are influenced, among other things, by the type of materials to be stored. As with the other types of facilities we build at Commercecon, we put great emphasis on the investor’s expectations and the required finishing standard. In the case of a high-bay warehouse, the location is also important both in terms of formal, legal and weather conditions (wind), which become even more significant as the building gets higher.
