Building and designing warehouses has been our day-to-day business for years. We leverage our experience to design warehouses that meet all requirements of the investor. Every hall is a tailor-made structure, fit for the intended use. One of the key specifications to consider is the right height, as the usable space should enable optimum storage. Commercecon is capable of designing low-rise, mid-rise and high-bay storage halls.
What are high-bay storage halls? This type of building often has a peculiar structure, as the racking substructures also function as the main load-bearing system, supporting the roofing and walls, while facilitating the storage of goods. Due to considerable height, these facilities allow for the storage of relatively large quantities of goods in relation to the occupied floor area. Building a high-bay storage hall also does not prevent adding fully-fledged office and staff facilities to suit your needs and expectations.
The cost of a storage hall construction depends, among other things, on the type of materials to be stored. As with the other types of facilities delivered by Commercecon, we put great emphasis on the investor’s expectations and the required finishing standard. In the case of a high-bay warehouse, the location is also important both in terms of formal, legal and weather conditions (wind), which become even more significant as the building grows taller.
