The third #Industry360 Congress, hosted by Nowoczesny Przemysł (Contemporary Industry periodical), took place on 19-20 November. The event traditionally brings together both industrial experts and logistics and warehousing pundits who engage in behind-the-scenes experience exchange, as well as share their specialist knowledge on stage. Hubert Hoffman, CEO of Commercecon, was also one of the speakers at the 2025 Congress.
Industry comes with its many facets to address. Automation and efficiency in technological processes, keeping production uninterrupted and optimising stock management are just some examples of what matters in it. In fact, whichever perspective you choose, there is always one point you cannot leave out of the consideration. Which one? The industrial building – it’s where it all begins.
To illustrate this, the following case study focused on an investment process of building an industrial facility: Three perspectives, a common goal. How to efficiently execute the investment process for the delivery of an industrial facility?, part of which was presented by Hubert Hoffman during the discussion. He joined his business partners Marek Foryński, Managing Director Panattoni BTS, and Michał Bias, Global Executive Project Manager to talk us through the investment process consisting of a joint development of a production and warehouse building for a global manufacturer of innovative solutions for the industry and a construction sector.
It was a unique opportunity to see representatives of all three investment project entities together on stage: the client, the developer and the general contractor, which talked about their collaboration and the challenges they faced during that project. The audience learnt, among other things, what roles each of the actors plays in the process, what issues they encounter most often during the work they carry out, and how they can solve them, of course, with mutual support provided. It was the information to be valued by any project owner planning on a new factory or expanding an existing industrial plant.
The case study was brilliantly moderated by Arek Burnos, Managing Director EMEA SEAM Group, a global leader in the optimisation of energy-powered resources.
We would like to extend our thanks to the host Nowoczesny Przemysł crew for inviting us!
