We are building a modern warehouse for Koliber Food

We started working with Koliber Food at the end of 2025. One of the leading burger producers in Poland has entrusted us with the delivery of its new project in the city of Zgierz, where a modern warehouse building with a deep freeze store will be provided, with a total floorage of 3,400 square metres and a height of approx. 14 metres.

Koliber Food is one of the leading burger producers in Poland and has been setting quality standards in its class for years. Developed as a family project since 1993, the company combines passion for excellent taste with advanced technology, as the Zgierz plant boasts one of the most modern production lines in Europe.

Through regular investment in state-of-the-art equipment resources our partner is able to retain outstanding flexibility in adapting its product range to dynamically changing market needs, while at the same time increasing production capacity, which usually entails the need for additional storage space for finished products. For Koliber Food, this means a specialist deep freeze store building.

What we know from our experience in the general contracting of high-tech industrial facilities for the food industry is that the construction of deep freeze and cold storage facilities is a major challenge for construction companies. Precision is key both at the design and execution stages, especially in terms of ensuring the continuity of thermal insulation, preventing thermal bridges and controlling the airtightness of the building. Engineering and construction details, which are usually of negligible importance in other projects, become a key factor to ensure high quality of the entire project of this type of facility. This is why choosing a general contractor that has already completed this type of projects proves crucial.

The storage building for Koliber Food in Zgierz near Łódź is being erected next to company’s existing production facility. It will contain storage space, an industrial area, office and welfare facilities, as well as a deep freeze store of approx. 600 square metres, located in the central part of the building. We are planning to install a PV array on its roof.

As part of the project, we are also responsible for site development works outside the building, and providing services.
