Fourth project for Panattoni at the K-Flex campus in Uniejów behind us!
We have completed the construction of another industrial facility for Panattoni Poland as part of the K-Flex campus in Uniejów.
The newest hall provides an additional 20,000 m2 of warehouse space to enhance the logistics operations of K-Flex Worldwide, a global leader in the manufacture of flexible insulation and sound-proofing materials, and to support the distribution of the manufactured product range to clients worldwide.
The building will receive BREEAM environmental certification at the Excellent level. It will be powered by energy from, among other things, a roof-mounted PV system, as well as low-carbon fuel from LNG infrastructure, further optimising the costs associated with day-to-day operation.
Like the warehouse handed over for use last year, this one has been built under the build-to-suit formula which allows for the construction of a perfectly tailored space.
The facility has a height of 15 metres to increase the efficiency of the storage space, and the roof structure is reinforced for the aforementioned installation of a PV system. To prevent the spread of fire and smoke, the new hall is separated from the existing facility by a fire separation wall with fire resistance REI240. Communication between the halls is provided by gantry openings equipped with B = 350 × H = 550 cm fire doors with EI120 resistance. The new warehouse has been equipped with 10 docks for efficient shipment of goods.
This is our fourth project for this pair of clients. Over the past few years, we have delivered 70,000 m2 of warehousing and manufacturing space for Panattoni BTS within the K-Flex campus.
