We have completed another project for Katoen Natie in Kutno
We have completed another project for our long-standing client Katoen Natie, a Belgian provider of innovative logistics solutions. As part of the expansion of the Kutno logistics centre, we erected a third high-bay warehouse and extended the silo complex, which is a key component of our client’s operational activities.
The new warehouse facility is 15.5 metres high and has a total floor area of nearly 16,000 square metres.
As the general contractor, we delivered the project on a build-to-own basis. The scope of work comprised the comprehensive construction of the warehouse, including all services, such as plumbing and a specialised sprinkler system, which was incorporated into the design due to the nature of the materials stored on site.
A further expansion of the silo bank was also an integral part of the contract. As part of the project, 40 more tanks were delivered, which increased the operational capacity of Katoen Natie’s logistics centre in Kutno.
We were also responsible for the development of the land surrounding the new facility, including the construction of a network of internal roads linking the new warehouse to the rest of the logistics centre’s infrastructure. As a result, the extended building forms a coherent and functional whole with the existing buildings.
The completed project marks the next stage in Katoen Natie’s steady expansion in Kutno and responds to the growing demand for the specialist logistics solutions offered by the Belgian operator. It is also the next chapter of the long-lasting Katoen Natie and Commercecon partnership, which is based on trust, experience and the successful delivery of challenging industrial and logistics projects.
We are delighted to have once again been able to contribute to the development of our client’s infrastructure and to deliver a facility that will support Katoen Natie’s continued expansion in the Polish market.
