We are expanding Polmlek Group’s production facility

We have just launched another project for our food industry client: the Polmlek Group, the leader in the dairy industry in Poland. We have been contracted to erect a facility with a total area of 1,580 square metres as part of the expansion of the producer’s facility in Piotrków Kujawski. The facility will start production of high-quality whey protein concentrate in 2026. The value of this construction project we are one of the contractors in is more than PLN 10.5 million.

The Polmlek Group is the European leader in the production of highly specialist functional dairy powders, which it sells to more than 140 countries worldwide. The manufacturer was the first in Poland to launch a WPC and lactose powder plant, and the project launched in Piotrków Kujawski has been the next stage in the development of the superfood segment. It is worth noting that the Polmlek Group is also gradually investing in improving the efficiency of its production processes, through automation and digitisation, and is carrying out activities to improve the energy efficiency of its plants.

For our client in Piotrków Kujawski, we are constructing an industrial building with a total area of 1,580 square metres and a maximum height of 10.5 m as part of the work to expand the production facility. Due to the requirements of the production process, it will be connected to the existing buildings with special link buildings.

As part of the project, the Commercecon team is responsible not only for the construction of the facility, but also for the provision of all the services, which in this case is very complex. These works will include a four-storey pipe trestle for milk and welfare services pipelines, a CIP room, foundations for a set of storage silos or a parking canopy for tankers, among other things.

The project is implemented in accordance with Food Safety standards.

Date of completion of construction works is scheduled for Q2 2026.
