In Gliwice, we are have completed an industrial building project for Saint-Gobain Ecophon, a leading manufacturer of sound insulation products and systems. A production and warehouse hall with a total area of 11,000 m2 was built in Silesia. Ecophon is a brand of the global Saint-Gobain Group, with which we have worked in the past.
Our cooperation with the Saint-Gobain Group and its Ecophon brand dates back to 2008. At that time we were involved in the construction of the production facility being built in Gliwice and were responsible for the design of the hall cladding as well as the supply and installation of the steel structure and the wall and roof cladding.
After 15 years, we were happy to return to Gliwice. Our client decided to expand the plant operating in Silesia and entrusted the complex construction work to our team, which included the creation of a production and warehouse hall with a total area of 11,000 m2.
We saw the new contract as an appreciation of our previous work for the company, as well as an acknowledgement by its representatives of our hard work in the industrial construction sector over the past few years.
This time, our scope included the construction of a storage and production hall with a canopy over the loading area, as well as the construction of a comprehensive technical infrastructure.
We were be involved in the refurbishment of the office building in the existing part of the factory which gained 150 square metres of new, modern space on completion. As part of the contract, we were also responsible for the landscaping of the area around the new hall – internal roads, car parks and green spaces were created, all linked together to form an efficient ecosystem that meets the high standards of sustainable construction.
Investing in the new facility, together with the recently launched new production line in the existing building, allowed Saint-Gobain Ecophon to increase its existing production capacity, enabling it to respond even better to the rapidly growing needs of the market.
