2024 wrapped up with a new contract. We have just launched the expansion of the Katoen Natie logistics centre, a project for the Belgian provider of innovative logistics solutions. This has been another of our projects for this customer in the last few years. We will build a high-bay warehouse with a contemporary office building and 40 new silos by the middle of next year as part of the Kutno project.

Recent years have seen a dynamic growth of Katoen Natie’s operations in Poland. Our client is consistent in pursuing the ambitious plan announced several years ago to expand its Kutno logistics centre, and we are delighted to provide assistance in this process. Since then, it has entrusted us with the construction of two high-bay warehouses with a total area of 26,000 square metres, and the expansion of the silo farm which play a key role in its operational activities. The facilities were built on the premises and with the support of the Kutno Subzone of Special Economic Zone of Łódź. And there is still more to come!

In response to the ever-growing demand for the specialist logistics solutions offered by Katoen Natie, the company has decided to build another high-bay warehouse facility in Kutno, with a two-storey office and staff welfare area to be erected next to it. The Commercecon team was again entrusted with the delivery of this project. We take it as a sign of great trust and a testament to mutual understanding. A returning customer is always the best recommendation for us.

The new warehouse will be 15.5 metres tall, with a total area of almost 16,000 square metres. We are building the site as a build-to-own project. The project also involves the further expansion of the silo farm, with next 40  tanks to be built, and site development, including the adaptation of the road realignment to link the new facility with the other ones owned by the Belgian operator.

The expected completion date has been set for the middle of next year.
