Geplastyk

We have built a warehouse building for Geplastyk Polska Sp. z o.o., located in Konstantynów Łódzki, within the Łódź Special Economic Zone. Our client is a manufacturer of plastic components for various industries. The newly-erected building ensures a logistics site for our client’s production facility located in the vicinity.

Constructed in Konstantynów Łódzki, the warehouse building has a height of 12 metres and a total area of 2,500 square metres. In addition to the storage space, it was also provided with a staff welfare area and plant rooms.

We have seen Geplastyk’s rapid business growth in its home market in recent years. In view of steady growth of new projects and an expanding portfolio of customers, our client decided to build a warehouse building to serve as a logistics site for the production plant located in the vicinity, in Rąbień. Since 2005, the plant has been manufacturing plastic components for machinery and equipment for various industries, including the automotive and white goods sectors. The location was selected for a reason, because Łódź has long been one of Poland’s major production hubs for large white goods sector. It was in and around Łódź that global corporations such as BSH, Whirlpool and Miele established their production plants.

The building for Geplastyk was completed under the “Design and Build” formula – our client hired our company for both the design stage and end-to-end delivery of the construction work. We do enjoy working under this arrangement. It enables us to offer the customer fully customised solutions, ideally tailored to their requirements, in terms of design, choice of technical solutions and construction materials. We carry out construction projects across Poland, but being able to work with the local client is a truly exciting prospect for us. And we can admit this has been the best-supervised construction site in our history – we could see it directly from our office windows after all .
