Construction of a modern production and storage hall for ML System
The photovoltaic market in Poland is growing rapidly – the number and power of systems are increasing, but new photovoltaic factories are also being built. Commercecon is building one of them. Our client is the Polish company ML System, a renowned manufacturer of innovative building-integrated photovoltaic solutions.
The WSE-listed company’s new factory is being built in Zaczerń, near Rzeszów, on the site of the AEROPOLIS science and technology park in Podkarpackie, close to the company’s existing premises. The hall will be 12 metres high and its total area, which will include modern office and social facilities as well as production and storage space, will be almost 20,000 square metres. It will eventually employ 120 people.
The use of renewable energy sources is a conscious development of the energy market, dictated by environmental and financial concerns. Photovoltaic panels are undoubtedly one of the most popular solutions. The record-breaking interest in them is mainly due to the ever-increasing price of energy from traditional sources, but also to growing consumer awareness of the high CO2 emissions these sources produce.
The hall we are building will allow LM System to increase its current production capacity (from 25,000 sq m to 45,000 sq m) and thus respond more effectively to market expectations. As is typical for a manufacturer of solar energy solutions, the building will be powered by photovoltaic energy from its own production.
The facility will be built on a 3.1 hectare plot of land and the area around the building will include green areas, an internal road, a car park with 85 spaces and technical infrastructure with a retention and drainage basin and a fire tank.
