Commercecon team has just started the construction of a modern warehouse with a total area of 10 thousand square meters which is ultimately being built for Solaris Bus & Coach, one of the European leaders in the production of buses and trolleybuses. The facility under the BTS formula, will be located in Bolechowo near Poznań, where the manufacturer’s main factory is based. The warehouse is to be completed at the turn of the first and second quarter of 2022.

We are erecting the building in the demanding build-to-suit formula, and the process solutions applied will fully meet the needs of the future user. The warehouse is to play a key role in the proper functioning of the supply chain for the neighbouring vehicle production hall, and thus it will be connected to it both by road infrastructure and utilities.

The total area of the facility is 10 thousand square metres, of which more than 8,000 sqm will be occupied by a warehouse hall with a clear height of 12 metres. Next to it, there will be a two-floor office and staff building (1600 sqm), where, among other things, changing rooms, a canteen, offices and conference rooms will be located.

Due to the client’s requirements regarding the stored components, we will install the smoke extraction and a sprinkler system in the warehouse area, including sprinklers at the rack levels. As the general contractor, we are also responsible for the development of the project area, where the gatehouse, the pumping station and the fire water tank will be built as separate structures.

The facility will meet the environmental protection requirements. Among other things, it will be equipped with a separator for petroleum contaminants to enable the treatment of rainwater from roofs and roads before discharging into the municipal sewage system, LED lighting, mechanical ventilation, an sound barrier on the roof of the office, and a PV system on the roof of the hall.

This is just another of our projects for Panattoni. In September this year, we completed a production and warehouse hall in Kalisz with a total area of over 40 thousand square metres.
