The first hall, part of Panattoni’s logistics centre in Zgierz near Łódź, ready!
DPD Polska Sp z o.o., one of the largest courier companies in Europe with more than 24,000 DPD Pickup points in Poland, has moved in.
The new facility, completed by us as part of , totals almost 6,300 sq m of warehouse and office space. It uses an automatic sorting line from the BEUMER Group with a capacity of 6,000 parcels per hour, which is one of the largest and most modern in the country.
In order to optimise logistics processes, the hall has 16 gates for unloading and loading line trucks and 61 courier gates.
The building has been designed and built in accordance with the #BREEAM certification criteria at the Excellent level.
A number of sustainable solutions have been incorporated: EV charging stations and a PV system installed on the ground next to the building, and the surroundings are enriched with flower meadows to support biodiversity.

Commercecon was responsible for all the construction work of the new facility, as well as the development of the surrounding area, including the completion of the necessary infrastructure, both road and technical, including the gatehouse, pumping station and fire water tank were built.
The hall was designed and built according to the principles of sustainable industrial construction and in accordance with BREEAM Excellent certification criteria. A number of 'green' solutions were adopted during the construction, including EV charging stations, and flower meadows around the building to support biodiversity.
The Commercecon team completed all the tasks exceptionally well, and delivered both buildings on time and with the quality that matched the design. In doing so, it has confirmed that it is a reliable general contractor for industrial facilities and a recommendable business partner.
